A dramatic re-imagining of a remote mountain cabin into a luxurious modern retreat. The need to maintain the footprint of the existing house led to the development of a series of additions and expansions designed to engage with the impressive mountain views. Double-height glazing in the great room is mimicked in the primary bedroom, each expressed as unique volumes in the asymmetrical composition of the house.
