This lakeside retreat was conceived as an age-in-place home for a retired forester and his wife. Extensive decks and porches provide connection to the outdoors, while a compact single-level layout allows them to downsize while still enjoying ample living space to entertain family. A separate but adjoining suite allows both privacy and proximity for overnight guests or a future caretaker.
