This century-old iron ore house - located on a ranch dating to before the days of the Republic of Texas - was on the verge of collapse when the owners re-acquired this old family property. The renovation involved re-constructing an entirely new structure while maintaining the original walls. The interior layout was adapted and modernized to suit the owner's needs as a weekend retreat, with ample room for entertaining family and friends for days at the ranch. Interior design and furnishing is intended to facilitate relaxation and escape from city life.
